Dr. Julius No is a high-ranking officer in the world's most powerful criminal organization, who went freelance, seeking world domination for his own. He set up his evil schemes on his own personal island, Crab Key. In the game *GoldenEye: Rogue Agent*, he is the target of the protagonist's assassination mission, hired by Auric Goldfinger. Dr. No is modeled after Joseph Wiseman and was voiced by Carlos Alazraqui.

Lore & Background
Dr. Julius No is a high-ranking officer in the world's most powerful criminal organization. He went freelance, seeking world domination for his own, therefore setting up his evil schemes on his own personal island, Crab Key. Three years prior to the game's events, he shot the protagonist in the right eye during an encounter, an act that led to the protagonist's obsession with revenge and eventual dismissal from MI6. Dr. No is the target of Auric Goldfinger's assassination plot, as Goldfinger seeks to eliminate his rival and become the sole dominant operative in the organization.
In Their Own Story
The protagonist, an ex-MI6 agent, is recruited by Auric Goldfinger specifically to assassinate Dr. No. The agent is given a gold-hued cybernetic eye, earning him the codename 'GoldenEye', for this job. The final mission takes place on Crab Key, Dr. No's personal island. GoldenEye confronts Dr. No in his lair. During their duel, GoldenEye uses his mechanical eye to sabotage the island's nuclear reactor, causing it to electrocute Dr. No. Upon No's death, Goldfinger contacts GoldenEye and reveals he intends to take over the lair, leaving GoldenEye to die in the impending nuclear meltdown.
